Sierra All Grown Up :)

So as I am sitting here on my couch with my room mate procrastinating my homework, like many college students do, I decided that I should start blogging. Tons of my friends have started and it seems really fun and interesting. And I figured it would be a good idea since I have recently started a new chapter in my life :)
I graduated high school on June 2, 2011, and so far grown up world isn't too scary. I got my first job this summer working for Pocatello Parks and Rec as a baseball/t-ball coach. Basically I had about four teams that I coached (ages ranging from 4 to 11) every day for 3 months in the summer. At times, it was so rough, my patience was tested, parents were demanding and fiesty, I had sunburns GALORE (which I never really experienced in my life at all, so I was in for a huge shock), and I was completely exhausted by the end of the day. But with all the hard times and the tears shed (Yes, I did cry. There are some rude parents out there!) I look back on that experience every day and miss it so much. I miss all my little kids and their happy, kind, innocent little spirits. I loved starting my day with a "Hi Coach!" and ending with a "Thanks Coach!" I loved bribing them with treats after a game if they were really good and didn't fight with their team mates (even though they were going to get treats anyway. lol) I just loved that job so much and I hope that I will be able to go back next year!
My summer basically consisted of working, sleeping, running, Jillian Michaels workout videos, trying to eat healthy, watching my brother's baseball games, spending time with friends, Facebook stalking, stressing out about college, and KIWI LOCO. Let me just talk a little bit about my love for Kiwi Loco. More specifically, my love for Banana Bread Frozen Yogurt from Kiwi Loco. You walk into the beautiful green-themed room and immediately you are hit with the aroma of yummy healthy goodness. You grab about 5 sample cups... and sample every flavor about 12 times... even though you know you're just going to end up getting a huge cup full of Banana Bread yogurt and maybe a little bit of Cake Batter. Then you go to the toppings. The toppings :) MMM let me just savor that sound and the thought in my head for a little bit.................................................. They range from strawberries to rasberries to kiwi to cookie dough to snickers to reeses to oreos to girl scout cookies to almonds to chocolate covered sunflower seeds to pretzels to marshmallows to Swedish Fish to cheesecake bites to animal crackers.. You get the point. But I usually just stick to the usual: Cookie dough, brownie bites, walnuts, coconut flakes, almonds, strawberries, caramel sauce, and those little mini sour gummy worms. Four words: HEAVEN IN MY MOUTH. Every day after work I would stop at Kiwi Loco. After my brother's baseball tournaments I would stop at Kiwi Loco. When I hung out with friends we would stop at Kiwi Loco. If I was bored I would stop at Kiwi Loco. Pretty much it's a good thing that I went running every morning or else  I probably would have gained about 400 pounds.
Basically I love food. And I love talking about food. So if I write about food a lot, that's why. I guess you could say I'm a fatty... I used to not be a huge fan of the sweets, but my mom has a huge sweet tooth, my grandma has a huge sweet tooth, I was destined to inherit a sweet tooth once I grew into my big girl taste buds.
Anyways, I spent a lot of time this summer mostly hanging out with my family because I knew I would be 3 and a half hours away from them starting in the fall. Even though we got on each other's nerves a lot, I loved every second of being with them and I have the most rad family ever. They are my best friends :) I seem to be getting the hang of this blogging stuff so hopefully this isn't just a one time thing that I am writing on here. Until next time my fellow bloggers! :)
